What better way to ride than in style. The Make a “Dream Cruise” Come True and Wrangler Rally is now is the largest car cruise benefiting Special Olympics. Hundreds of automotive enthusiasts from all over the country convene at The Farmington Club, 162 Town Farm Road, Farmington, CT. As part of the cruise, Special Olympics athletes are paired with the exotic, classic car or wrangler owners and are given the opportunity to ride in their vehicles. The police escorted cruise journeys through the Farmington Valley for an 8 mile Dream Cruise and ends at The Farmington Club, where the athletes are honored at a red carpet affair.
Join us for the Dream Cruise, but also stay the night! Registration includes a delicious dinner catered by The Farmington Club, as well as access to the grounds. The day also includes Dream Concert, vendors, raffles, live entertainment, Family Fun Zone, and much more! Consider joining us for two days! Purchase the two-day pass and be a part of the dream all weekend. Sunday, August 28th, features a motorcycle ride and rally, Dream Show featuring a motorcycle and car show, vendors, Family Fun Zone, raffles, pet adoptions, live entertainment, and much more.
Pre-registration is MANDATORY. No on-site registration will be allowed. Limited space available. Only 250 spots available. First come, first serve basis.
If you’re interested in having a Special Olympics athlete ride in your vehicle, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org. All drivers are required to do an online screening. If you are a first time driver or have not completed the screening in the past 3 years, you will be sent a link from Special Olympics Connecticut via email to complete. Make a “Dream Cruise” Come True participants have the opportunity to have a Special Olympian Athlete ride in their vehicle during the cruise. It is mandatory for all drivers to watch, a short 10 minute SOCT video and application needs to be completed and approved to participate in this Special Offer. You must pre-register and have prior approval by Special Olympics Connecticut to take an athlete. Athletes are not guaranteed to be available for every driver. Register early. Safety equipment required for all automobiles including seat belts – NO EXCEPTIONS.
