Frank Greg
General Sales Manager

Frank has worked his entire career in the automobile business with the majority of those years managing sales and service teams.  Frank enjoys working with customers to make sure all of their needs have been met and that their vehicle purchasing experience is positive. Frank can be always be found in the showroom with a smile on his face, shirt sleeves rolled up hard at work providing a great experience for our customers.  When Frank is not working he enjoys his time in the gym and in the river fishing.

Jeff Armington
Jeff has many years of experience in automotive management. With an education in finance, he has become a leader in helping people with bruised credit to be able to purchase a car that meets their needs. Through our Guaranteed Approval Program, Jeff is able to get people on the road in a great pre-owned vehicle at an affordable price. Jeff has been with Papa’s since 2007 and is one of the reasons why “At Papa’s our people make the difference.”

Jeromy Berman
Jeromy has been in the car business since 2006 and has been with the Papa’s family since 2011. He is a knowledgeable Sales Manager with a patient, non-pressure approach. Be sure to check out the positive reviews from the many customers he has worked with.

Justin has been a part of the Papa’s team since 2014. Justin brings many years of experience of automotive marketing and advertising. Before coming to Papa’s he was involved with his family's business which pioneered the one of the first automotive classified ad internet websites back in 1994.

Żaneta Boryka
Vehicle Consultant
Żaneta has been part of the Papa’s sales team over for 13 years. Originally from Poland, Żaneta is bilingual in English and Polish and enjoys sharing her polish heritage with her customers. Żaneta is very knowledgeable about all of our products and loves to work with customers to assist them in choosing the right vehicle to meet their budget and their needs. Mówimy po polsku!!!!

David began his career with Papa’s in 2001 answering the phones and scheduling appointments. With his outgoing personality and commitment to taking care of customers, he was quickly promoted to Vehicle Consultant. David consistently achieves top Sales Associate of the year. He enjoys working with customers to find them the perfect vehicle to meet their style and budget needs. David also handles all of the lease returns at Papa’s.

Rick loves to sell cars and always makes his customers feel like they are his only customer. He began his career in the automotive business in 2005. Rick lives in Wethersfield and when not at Papa’s spends his free time as a professional DJ.

Marty Mattei
Marty began his career in the automotive industry part time while still in school. He loved the industry so much that he decided to make a career of it. With experience in the parts and service business he has great product knowledge. Marty owned and operated his own repair business for over eight years and after that sold shop equipment to leading dealer groups in the area. Today he utilizes his skills on the sales team at Papa’s where his enthusiasm and commitment to the customer shines through every day. When Marty is not at work, he enjoys the great outdoors of fishing, hunting and camping.

Deb has worked in the automotive business since the 1980’s. With her upbeat personality she is many times the initial contact person and liaison between the customer and the sales team through online and phone inquiries. She loves what she does and enjoys assisting our sales staff and working with our customers to help them find just the right vehicle to meet their needs.

Bob’s many years of working in the automotive business has provided him with great experience in delighting his customers while meeting their needs. Mark has been working in the automotive industry for over 27 years, with 26 of those years in auto finance. He has developed many long standing relationships with various lending institutions. Ryan began his career in the automotive field with Papa’s back in 2012 as a Vehicle Consultant. He quickly progressed to the Internet Manager, then to Inventory Manager before becoming a Finance Manager. Ryan enjoys working with our customers to find them the best financing options to meet their needs. Growing up in Martha’s Vineyard and playing hockey at the University of Notre Dame, Ryan has a very unique background. Ryan is a knowledgeable person and a great asset to the Papa’s team.

Our Parts Department has a combined 149 years of experience to help give you “The Respect you Expect!”

Bill has worked in the automotive Service and Parts business for over 45 years. Many of those years working right here in New Britain at Tufano Motors. Andy has been working in the Parts business since 1984 with over 15 years here at Papa’s. He is the point person on the retail counter and can easily answer questions and make recommendations. Andy is a volunteer firefighter in Essex.

Dwight grew up in Burlington and studied at Porter and Chester Technical Institute before entering the car business.

Stephen Lawrence
Parts Advisor
Stephen joined the Papas Parts team in May of 2017. He has worked in the parts business for the last 16 years and is very knowledgeable about both parts and accessories. Stephen grew up in Hartford and holds an Associate’s Degree from Gateway Community College. He loves to watch motorsports of all types and is a Dallas Cowboys and NY Knicks fan.

Dom Papa
PRESIDENT/OWNER Dom has been in the car business literally his entire life. He started out in his younger years washing cars, working in the Parts Department and the Body Shop and pushing a broom around – the typical things you do when your father owns a car dealership. After graduating from Embry Riddle Aeronautical University and flying commercially for a short time, he came to work in the family business. Today he oversees the entire operation and can be found at the dealership nearly every day. Whether buying cars at the auction, working with customers, assisting the Sales staff or leading our many charitable efforts, in particular Special Olympics Connecticut, whose athletes love him, Dom is passionate about the business and truly cares about making sure our customers have a great experience. Dom and his dog Claudia are here in the dealership interacting with guests nearly every day. Dom and the Papa’s story were featured in a March issue of Dealer magazine, the premier trade magazine for the automotive business. Dom is extremely proud of Papa’s Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram and the people who work here every day to make our guest’s experience positive and memorable. He truly believes that at Papa’s, Our People Make the Difference!

Our Founders
Domenic and Helen Papa along with Domenic’s brother Eugene started Papa’s Garage here in New Britain in 1947. In the over 70 years since the business began, it has grown to become one of the largest Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram dealers in the region and one of New Britain’s larger employers. They instilled a sense of community in their children that still holds today with contributions and events supporting many charities throughout the state.

Lisa Papa-Thiesfeldt
Lisa has held several positions in management, public relations and training over her career and was a Master Trainer for several major training initiatives including Creating Customer Focused Quality, Teams and Teamwork, Quality Improvement Process and Management Development and Leadership Training. She also participated in several Disney Institute programs. With the goal of creating an automotive dealership centered on customer service, Lisa has been working on increasing communications both with our associate group and guests, creating events and promotions to foster relationships with Papa’s guests and instituting programs to give back to the community. Lisa is also involved in supporting many local charities including the Susan B. Komen Foundation, the American Cancer Society, Special Olympics, Prudence Crandall Center and coordinates our Annual Holiday Fill-the-Van Collection for local charities. Lisa and her rescue dog Sadie are members of the Intermountain Therapy Animals group.

Sean Lawlor
General Manager/Comptroller
Starting his career at Papa’s as a Service Advisor, over the years Sean has worked in several of our departments and became the General Manager and Comptroller several years ago. Sean is a resource in all aspects of our business and can be found in the thick of things on a daily basis. He can often be found on the showroom floor, in the Service or Parts Departments, working with an employee or taking care of a customer to make sure their needs are met. Sean has always been a great supporter of our charitable programs and events that we have here and is personally very proud of our work and support of Special Olympics Connecticut.
